Ford India recently increased the prices of its flagship model Endeavor. Full-size SUV prices have increased from Rs 44,000 to Rs 1.20 lakh and now the BS6 Ford Endeavor is priced from Rs 29.99 lakh to Rs 34.45 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Earlier, when Ford India launched its BS6 Endeavor, the company said that this is the initial price. However, due to the coronavirus epidemic and the resulting lockdown, Ford India had to suspend its product and retail activities from late March to early May 2020.
The Ford Endeavor is currently available in three variants – Titanium 4X2 AT, Titanium + 4X2 AT and Titanium + 4X4 AT. All three variants have the same 2.0 liter EcoBlue diesel engine which generates 168 bhp power and 420 Nm torque. The engine comes with Ford’s 10-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
The 2020 Ford Endeavor looks similar to the older BS4 model. The company has given full-LED headlamps, large alloy wheels, LED taillamps and more. The SUV features Terrain Management System (TMS), SYNC 3 with 8-inch touchscreen and Apple CarPlay. Along with this, it has a panoramic sunroof, semi-auto parallel park assist, push start button, hands-free power lift rear gate and 8-way power adjustable driver and front passenger seats. This SUV now has Hill Launch Assist and Hill Descent Control.
For the 2020 model, the company has given FordPass as connectivity technology in it. With this system, many functions such as starting, stopping, locking or unlocking in the vehicle, fuel information, range, information can be taken remotely.
