Defense Minister will go on a two-day tour of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh with Army Chief

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will be visiting Ladakh and Jammu Kashmir on Friday and Saturday to take stock of military preparations in the border areas bordering China and Pakistan occupied Kashmir.

According to sources, the Chief of Army Staff, General Manoj Mukund Narwane will also accompany the Defense Minister on 17 July. Lt. Gen. YK Joshi, who heads the Northern Command of the Army, will receive the Defense Minister. Sources said that the Defense Minister will also visit the frontier posts along the border and encourage the soldiers.

At the 14th Corps Headquarters in Ladakh, the Corps Commander Lt Gen Harender Singh will inform them of the implementation of the agreed agreement to avoid a confrontation between the forces of China and India on the Line of Actual Control.
