How to allow only registered users to comment on WordPress?

If you don’t want a comment from a new user on your blog, check the option “Users must be registered and logged in to comment” from Discussions under the Settings option.

To allow only registered users to comment on WordPress, you can follow these steps:

  1. Login to your WordPress admin dashboard.
  2. Navigate to Settings > Discussion.
  3. Look for the section labeled “Other comment settings.”
  4. Check the box that says “Users must be registered and logged in to comment.”
  5. Click the “Save Changes” button at the bottom of the page.

By enabling this setting, only users who are logged in to your WordPress site will be able to leave comments. If a user is not logged in, they will see a message prompting them to log in or register before they can comment.
