Rejuvenation of education happening in Jammu and Kashmir, 700 girls including five girls hostels were completed

Steps are being taken for comprehensive reform in education in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. 700 jobs related to school education have been completed in Jammu and Kashmir, in which 5 girls hostels have also been completed. In the next three years, 19 new model schools will be built. 700 works have been completed under the overall education. Recently 15 projects were inaugurated by Lieutenant Governor GC Murmu.

New rules of education rights law are being prepared. State Council for Education Research and Training will be made on the lines of NCIRT. 626 vocational labs are being set up in schools. Five hundred schools will be evaluated through third parties. To strengthen human resource development management, the government has permanent 38000 Rahbar-e-Talim teachers. 23405 students with special needs have been identified. Of these, 16115 have been registered. Scholarships worth Rs 1.20 crore have been given to 2838 students with special needs and 42 laptops have been distributed.

Education was provided to 30142 Gujjar Bakkarwal children in 1417 seasonal centers in Jammu and Kashmir. 60154 in Jammu Kashmir downloaded the deeksha app. 2500 computer labs are being set up. 88 Kasturba Gandhi Girls School and 88 Girls Residential Schools were opened in remote areas to reduce drop outs. Seven new model secondary schools and additional classrooms are being built. During Corona, 8.29 lakh students were transported to rice under Mid Day Meal Scheme to their homes. In Jammu and Kashmir, 252310 students were added under online education and 7302 schools were covered and 41214 teachers were added. 400 teachers were trained under the help of Farti Foundation.

In Jammu and Kashmir, books worth Rs 21.40 crore were distributed among 898745 children. Documents of education developed by NCERT were distributed to 52 thousand primary schools. 2,22,100 school bags and desks were provided.

Record 365690 candidates got registration for class IV posts

In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, a record 365690 candidates have registered online for Class IV posts so far. In the online application which started from July 10, so far 190910 candidates have finished filling the form. There is a great enthusiasm among the youth to apply for 8575 Class IV posts. 37470 applications have been filled for the account assistant positions. At the same time, 89 thousand candidates have obtained information by visiting the service selection board’s web site.
